Roman Invasion at Larkfield!

Date: 28th Apr 2015 @ 2:51pm

We had the most amazing day when, not one...but TWO Romans came to school! They taught us all about the Roman way of life; how the dirty Britons lived before the Romans arrived; Roman houses; clothes; food; keeping clean, and even toilets! Then they taught us all about the Roman army- and all of the stuff that Roman soldiers had to carry as they worked their way across many countries. Someone even dressed up as gladiator! We held shields, got into formation and had a battle! What an awesome start to our topic!
