Honey, I Shrunk the Kids

Date: 21st Apr 2015 @ 5:58pm

Last week we learnt all about sound and light. The children wrote some fantastic poems about sound! We have now moved on to electricity! The children are very excited!

A HUGE thank you to Xi Xi and her dad for making an 'Angel of the North'. The children have loved setting the alarms to different times in the day! However, I now see what Captain Hook felt like with all the ticking!  smiley

This term out new topic is called 'Honey, I Shrunk the kids!'. The children will be learning all about machines (inventing and making them) plants, mini beasts and Antony Gormley to name a few things! They are already very excited about this topic! We will also be watching the film 'Honey, I Shrunk the Kids'. Please note that this is a PG film but I feel it is suitable for children. Please let me know if you have any concerns about this.

Tilly - Can you keep a record of how much it grows every week? Ask me for a book if you would like one to keep pictures and measurements in. We would love to see a picture when it's fully grown!
Milly - Thank you! They have started to grow, yeah!
