Summer 1 Week 4

Date: 12th May 2017 @ 8:28pm

Well this term is flying by and we are pleased to see the children confidently engaging in writing opportunities. Our garage / car wash role play area has been a popular area to work this week, especially with the weather being so nice. If any parents or grandparents are a mechanic could you please come in and talk to us about your job.

There has been a significant change with the caterpillars who have entered the chrysalis stage. They are hanging from the lid so we have carefully removed it  from the container and placed it in our butterfly habitat net.  We will eagerly await for them to emerge as butterflies within 7-14 days.

Thank you to Noah's dad for taking the time to come into school as our mystery reader this week. I wonder who it will be next week?

A reminder about the importance of sun hats and suncream in school. Your children spend more time outside than the rest of the school so it is essential that they come to school wearing suncream and can reapply it at lunch. We will help children to apply it if they require help.

Have an enjoyable weekend and see you next week.
