Summer 1 Week 6

Date: 26th May 2017 @ 5:35pm

Four beautiful butterflies emerged this week. We put some fruit and flowers in the net and observed them throughout the day. The children were fascinated but we had to set them free the following day. All of us waved them off!

As it was so hot today we headed to the shaded nature area at the top of the field to create fairy houses. The finished designs were spectacular and all the children showed good collaboration and cooperation skills.

We were lucky enough to have two mystery readers this week. Thank you very much Mrs Sunners and Mr Locke ( who we persuaded to read two stories). There is still time next half term if you haven't had this experience yet!

Enjoy the half term, let's hope the lovely weather continues. If you go anywhere exciting could you please send us a postcard as that is going to be a writing focus next half term. Remember you can email any photos of your days out to- reception.larkfield@schools.sefton.gov.uk
