A Very Warm Welcome to Larkfield Primary School

It is a real privilege to welcome you to Larkfield Primary School.

Having been part of our wonderful school community for over a decade, I am thrilled to take on the role of Headteacher and lead Larkfield into its next exciting chapter. I feel incredibly proud to be part of a school with such a strong sense of community, such wonderful children and such a dedicated team.

At the heart of everything we do is our motto:

These are not simply words on a wall. They are values that shape our everyday life at Larkfield. We want every child to develop a genuine love of learning, to treat others with kindness and respect, and to have the confidence and resilience to embrace challenges, learn from mistakes and keep moving forward.

We believe that every child is unique, with their own personality, interests, talents and dreams. That is why getting to know each child as an individual is so important to us. We want our children to feel known, understood and valued, while being given every opportunity to discover what they are capable of and reach their full potential.

We are incredibly proud of the warm, inclusive and welcoming community we have created at Larkfield. Our relationships with parents and carers are an important part of this. By working together, listening to one another and sharing in our children’s successes, we can give them the very best possible start to their educational journey.

Above all, we want Larkfield to feel like a home away from home - a place where children feel safe, happy and valued; where they are encouraged to be themselves; and where every day brings a new opportunity to learn, grow and shine.
