Premium Funding Information

Pupil premium and Sports premium:
 

Pupil premium is an amount of money allocated to the school, dependent on the number of ‘disadvantaged children’ at the school. The government uses the number of children eligible for free school meals on the basis of parental income [this does not include every KS1 child taking free school meals under the universal free school meals programme] to calculate the amount of money provided.
 
The school is free to determine how to spend the pupil premium money, but it needs to have an impact in reducing the attainment gap between disadvantaged children and other children.

Sports premium is money allocated based on the number of children at the school. Again, the school is free to decide how to spend sport premium money, but it needs to be used to make additional and sustainable improvements to the quality and range of PE and Sport.
